Black line: Sounds like you have a vitreous floater which is a blurred piece "strand" of vitreous (the jelly that fills the eye) floating around in the vision. If the black line is completely black to one side and normal on the other like a "veil", you may have a retinal detachment. may also have a bleed inside the eye. You need examined immediately. Time is of the essence.
