NSAIDs: If nsaids are not helpful, you've exhausted most otc meds. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is an option, but if that does not help please see your doctor for other options. Also physical therapy can be helpful, otherwise a spine specialist evaluations may be needed.

Muscle pain: Overuse of the muscles can lead to muscular spasms (cramps). Hot compress should help along with an antiinflammatory drug such as ibuprofen (if there is on contraindication to it). Keep the muscles moving and stretch them before and after the exercises. 2-3 days of rest should do it unless you damaged a tendon or a joint while exercising, in which case have a proper evaluation.
