A member asked:

What to do if i have not had my period in 3 years, and i am 23; what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A lot: Amenorrhea or absence of a period, has an entire chapter in most GYN textbooks for causes. There are causes for women who have never started their periods(primary) and for those who started and for some reason have now stopped, but are not pregnant.(secondary). Have a OB GYN MD work through the "pages of that textbook chapter" with you and find a solution.
