Talking to the doc: who prescribed it, perhaps? As he probably told you to do. Antidepressant do not work right away, and they are generally started at a low dose to avoid side effects. I tell my patients that it may take 4-6 weeks to see effects, but they may see some at 2-3 weeks. If they feel nothing at 3-4 weeks, I raise the dose. If an increase doesn't work, one can increase more or try another medication.
