Don't: Smoking anything- tobacco, marijuana, hookah are all the same with respect to asthma- you are breathing in particulates that can trigger asthma attacks. I know it may be the most difficult thing you can do but do give quitting a try. Good Luck

That you control: your cravings. If you recently quit smoking and are still have severe cravings, there are both medical and psychological techniques to control craving. Medication like nicotine patches/lozenges/gum help a lot, as do the prescription drugs Zyban (bupropion) and Chantix (varenicline). Smoking support groups can be very helpful. In some people acupuncture and hypnosis can help. Get a support system!
