Plan B: A 'morning after' pill will delay ovulation and prevent pregnancy most of the time. You can take it within 3 days of having intercourse. In many states you can buy it without a prescription. Consider getting on a regular birth-control method so that you don't have this worry in the future. Plan B is a one-time emergency plan and shouldn't be used for routine contraception.
