Nailbed?: Typically fingertip fractures requie no treatment for the fracture as there is no or minimal displacement and it will heal on its own. The nailed is often a problem. If you had a hematoma under the nail this indicates an associated nailed injury and is often why the nail falls off. If you have a bump in the nailed this can be a problem causing permanent problems with nail plate adherence.
