A member asked:

What to do if i'm scheduled for a holter monitor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very Easy: Holter monitor is usually 24hr continuous recording. 5 sticky electrodes on your chest connected to a "pager-sized" recorder. It is basically not visible to other people, and the recorder is on your belt or in your pocket. Return it in 24 hrs and then several days for interpretation. No swimming or showers during test to keep receiver dry!! Take meds as instructed by M.D. Painless but Important!
