A member asked:

What to do if i'm losing hair everytime i comb or brush --what can i do to stop this ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe normal: It's completely normal to lose 50-100 hairs per day. It may seem like a lot, until you realize that there are over 100,000 strands of hair on your head. Every hair is somewhere in the growth cycle. Approx 90% should be in the growing phase (called anagen), 7% should be in the resting phase (called catagen), and 3% should be in the shedding phase (called telogen).
