A member asked:

How do they say a vagina is only 3-4 inches deep, where does the baby come from?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Higher up: The baby grows and is stored in the uterus (kind of like the body's incubator) until it is ready to be born. When it's time to come out the uterus opens up and the baby slides out through the vagina. The length of the vagina is not important for this part of the process. I hope this was helpful. If your mom or dad will let you i recommend looking at an anatomy book or on the internet for a picture.
