See a mental health: Professional for a diagnosis. Bipolar is a reality but it is probably over-used today. Whatever is going on, your doc can help or point you in the right direction. Please don't try to go it alone. Peace and good health.

Evaluation: If you have symptoms suggestive of bipolar disorder then recommend a psychological/ psychiatric evaluation to know one way or the other.

Psych eval: Find an experienced Clinical Psychologist who agrees to do an evaluation to determine if you meet the criteria for bipolar disease(s). It is higly over diagnosed these days IMHO. So, either it can be the focus of treatment - or your hypochondria can. You can work on a plan to help you get through your fears of being ill without a risk of missing early signs of anything serious. Best wishes!
