Switch: If the antidepressant is working, decide what is most important. Psychotherapy is a possible but less promise of an option. Switching antidepressants, although most cause this side effect, the individual human can experience no side effects after a switch.

Out of luck, D: There really is no good way to counter this side effect except to find an antidepressant other than SSRIs or SNRIs or to combine a drug with a different mechanism of action with a lower dose or the culprit drug.
