A member asked:

How much time can a antibiotic stay in your system, i got a rash?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on medicine: Different antibiotics have different 'half-lives' or time they will stay in the body. A good clue to that is 'how many times per day' the doc recommended it. For example, if it's twice a day - probably after 12 hours a good amount of it is gone. If you have a rash now that could be from the antibiotics - as in an allergy, and some antibiotics are more 'known' for this than others. Recc call ur doc
