Conjunctivitis: This is not consided a deadly disease in general. Not to rule out any infection developing complications causing sepsis through the whole body.

Almost never: Usually this is a mild condition. Rarely, certain bactera can seriously damage the eye if treatment is delayed too long (like a week or longer). Even then, conjunctivitis isn't deadly; I've never heard of a fatal case. If you have seen a doctor and started treatment, you can expect it to clear up quickly.
