Is it possible to get vertebral artery dissection from neck cracking?

Possibly: Any jerking motion of the neck can lead to carotid artery or vertebral artery dissection. I've seen them with car accidents and a rare couple of cases with chiropractic manipulation. I can't imagine that slow turning of the neck would lead to vertebral dissection though.
