A member asked:

How much time/days are required for paternal genome and blastocyst development after embryo transfer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What?: I'm not sure what your question is. 1. If you had a day 3 embryo transfer it will be a blastocyst in 2 days. If you had a day 5 transfer it is already a blastocyst. 2. Paternal genome is working from day one of combination of the two genomes. The dominant genes regardless of maternal or paternal origin take the lead. Sex development is initiated near the 9th week.
