Halitosis: Bad breath can be caused by many different factors, including sinus infections, periodontal problems, smoking, cavities, acid reflux, and your diet. Address all of these possibilities with your dentist and physician, and I'm confident that your problem will at least be minimized, and hopefully eradicated.

Totally cured?: It really can't be "totally cured" any more than you can totally "cure" a dirty body. Both require daily maintenance among other things. Start by seeing a dentist to rule out any dental problems, then and only if necessary see a physician to rule out any medical issues. Poor oral hygiene and diet are the two biggest offenders. Bad breath : also called Halitosis is caused from poor dental health, and may be a sign of other health problems. Also the type of food you eat or other factors like smoking can effect your breath. Rec.: see an oral medicine (dentist-specialist) to determine the cause of the problem and proper treatment. Many options and cures are available.
