Now or Later?: While donating, person can get sweaty, nausea, dizzy...and may vomit or faint--a stress reaction to needle poke. Later, vessel can get tender, hard, red--can indicate thrombophlebitis--irritation/clot in area or (tiny) potential for infection. Reactions VERY uncommon. A VERY safe procedure and highly encouraged!
