Possibly.: Taking birth control pills continuously (no pill free cycle - placebo days) is common and safe. With this method you typically do not get your period, but are more likely to have breakthrough spotting or bleeding. This is perfectly okay, provided you take your pills as directed. Most women allow a washout period (every three to six months) with this method.
