Anabolic steroids are highly dangerous drugs, even when they are used for the right reasons in people who have deficiencies or where such agents have therapeutic purposes. When used for the wrong reasons (artificially inducing muscle growth) by people with little or no medical training they can cause psychosis, cardiac problems, liver damage and many others.
