Yes: Aldara (imiquimod) is a very effective and safe treatment for aks. It can be used to treat a large surface area or a single lesion. Treatment period is usually 8-12 weeks. Recommend staying out of the sun during the treatment period because it makes you more sensitive to the sun and sunburn easier. Side-effects are redness and peeling which can be exacerbated by sun exposure.
