Depends on what: you are looking for. If you want to continue use of nicotine, almost any form is safer than combusted tobacco and is less likely to cause death from cancer. However, chewing tobacco and snus can cause mouth and throat cancer. The patches and other nicotine replacement products (gum, lozenges, patches etc.) are clearly safer, but may have the same cardiovascular dangers as other forms of nicotine
