Are all lymph node removal surgeries cancerous in nature? can you share some sources?

No: lymph node removals are performed for two reasons. The first is for enlarged firm lymph nodes where the excision is for diagnostic purposes. The second is for removal of potentially metastatic nodes to stage an existing tumor such as melanoma of skin or a malignant lesion of breast.
