Pediatric ent: Pediatric otolaryngologist and examine child and determine severity of laryngomalacia. May have to scope airway for visualization. Most mild laryngomalacia will disappar by 1-2 years of age. Sometimes child is evaluated for gastroesophaageal reflux which often accompanies laryngomalacia, immaturity of larynx, and immaturity of sphincter at distal esophagus.
