Whats the best otc herbs/vitamins that help with diabetes?

Eating correctly: Generally, herbal supplements and vitamins will not help with diabetes. Aside from medication, the best thing to do is exercise and enjoy a diet low in sugars/carbohydrates. Try searching the internet for diabetic friendly foods and speak with your doctor about the need for medications.

Diabetes supplements: Studies have shown that unless there is a specific vitamin deficiency that your doctor has identified, getting your important vitamins from healthy foods is a better way to go. The one exception may be vitamin d which has been shown to help control glucose levels. If you decide to take this, take 1000 iu a day of d3 supplement. Choose a brand that has the USP stamp on the label.
