Depends: Are they in the canal ? If you can locate them and coax them down from the canal or if they drop down during a warm bath, it is likely ok. If you cannot locate either it is time to consult with your doc.

Cryptorchidism: This is not too unusual but it probably is a good idea to have his pediatrician do an exam and possibly they will advise surgery. It is relatively easy and safe but it is likely that you (and he) will be advised to watch over his lifetime for any unusual changes. Males who've had this condition do have an increased risk of testicular cancer. But don't worry now - just have an exam and get advise.
