See below: A contact between body fluids (semen, blood, saliva etc) of a person infected with HIV and mucosal membranes (mouth, vagina etc) can predispose to infection; but the risk of infection depends on many factors including if the HIV person is taking medications or not, the viral load, the type and duration of contact etc.
