2 to 3 weeks: Testing too late adds to the anxiety of waiting. Testing too early means you will not be totally sure that you are not pregnant, even if the result is negative. Generally, my advice is to test 2 weeks after intercourse. If result is positive, then you know early. If result is negative and you still have no menstruation, test again 3 weeks after intercourse to be sure.
