A member asked:

I'am a very fertile mother of 5, my mirena (levonorgestrel) expires in a month, what's my % risk of getting pregnant?

Should still work up: To the date, if you do not want any more children in office essure is easy and works well.

High: I can't give you a number but if you are very fertile, when the Mirena (levonorgestrel) is removed you can expect to return to your normal fertility. If you are not ready to get pregnant, you should be making an appointment to see your doctor for another Mirena (levonorgestrel) or some other method of contraception.
