You are safe: You should be safe until you get your Mirena (levonorgestrel) out next week. In England they are approved for 7 years so 9 days should not be a problem. I have found that there are more problems with bleeding as you near time for removal and replacement but no increase in the risk of pregnancy. Hope this helps.
