Yes: Some women have mittleschmertz, painful ovulation, due to a slight amount of blood released from the ovary at ovulation. Anyone not uncomfortable during ovulation should be able to continue normal activities. If conception occurs during ovulation and there are no symptoms, continuing normal activities is appropriate.
