I took an ovulation test to see if i was still ovulating (i ovulated 1 or 2 days before), and today it came out negative. is it safe to have sex now?

Be careful : Op kits can miss ovulation and sperm can live in the cervical mucus for 3 days so i would be very wary about relying on them to prevent pregnancy.
