See a GYN ASAP : Three pads in one hour is way too much! if you aren't already anemic, you will be soon. I have seen women require blood transfusions because of a "heavy period". Bleeding this much is not normal, and should be evaluated. Your gyn doc may be able to help you in the office, but if you can't get in today, you may need to go to the er. Sometimes the treatment is just a medication, sometimes a d;c.
