Infection possibly: There are a broad range of possibilities. If its at the skin surface and seeping it could possibly be an infection-folliculitis/cellulitis. If it is an infection treatment options range from antibiotics to drainage of the area. If the "mass" is deeper it can be a lymph nice which again has a broad range of possibilities ranging from infection to lymphoma.
