High fiber: High fiber and fluids will help with constipation- to gain weight- add healthy oils to your diet such as olive oil and polyunsaturated oils. Eat a serving of fruits and or vegetables with each meal. Aim for at least 20 grams of serving a day. You need about a gallon of water as well. Eat lean meats, chicken, fish, try whole grains- legumes- nuts, stay away from junk and processed foods-.
