im on prednisone and hydroxyzine pamoate for poison ivy on my face. would it be alright to use cannabis while on these medications?

Cannabis: Given the multiple drug interactions it is not recommended that you use cannabis during this time . Hope that helps.

Stop hydroxyzine: This antihistamine is a strong tranquilizer. It will do nothing for poison ivy and will make you sleepy. Do not use except at bedtime. Prednisone should be very effective at 20 to 50 mg as a single am dose alternate days for 3 doses. Ok to use water. Cool water will feel good. When you lie flat the swelling is worse, swelling subsides when you are vertical. Hydrocortisone cream or Protopic ointmen.

Use potent prescription steroids except on face. Clebetasol or augmented beta methasone in 45 or 60 G tube. Protopic (tacrolimus) ointment or Elidel cream are used on the face.

Must you smoke dope while this is going on? But it will not interfere with correct treatment.
