Irregular menses: Many women have irregular menses at some point. The length of your cycle as well as the flow of your menses may change based on stress levels, hormone levels, dietary and weight changes. I would keep a calendar with the days of your bleeding recorded as well as the flow description (heavy, light, etc). If your cycle does not return to its "regular" length of time in 5.14, i'd see a physician.

Possibilities: If your periods have always been regular, and now this is happening, you might be approaching menopause. Most women begin having some irregular periods 1-2 years before their periods totally stop. So this is one possibility. Another possibility is that stress has caused the irregularity to the periods. If this is the case then the cycles should return to normal in month or two once stress is over.
