Unusual: Chronic appendicitis is an unusual diagnosis, not all surgeons agree that it exists. Acute appendicitis is characterized by pain near bellybutton localizing to right lower quadrant, nausea, vomiting, occasionally loose stools, fever, decreased appetite. There are other things that can cause chronic abdominal pain would suggest having your doctor evaluate you thoroughly.
