A member asked:

Not sure about this - is it true we are 'little' fertile starting the day period ends? can pregnancy be achieved at this time besides during ovulation

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fertility: Your ovulation will usually be 12-16 days after your period begins. It is only at ovulation that the egg can be fertilized. However, sperm can last for a number of days in the cervical mucus. So if you had sex on say day 5-6, it is possible for some of these sperm to still be "hanging around" on your ovulation day...Not likely, but possible.
