Pregnancy noise: Women are really miracles of evolution. The entire body changes during pregnancy to protect the unborn child. The blood volume increases. The hormones change. The uterus thickens. The unborn child is protected from the oustside world, can survive car accidents, and a variety of traumas. The baby may sense noises from the outside world, through its own sense or yours.

Didn't hurt her: Your baby is safe and protected within your womb. She can probably hear some of the noises in your environment, but the food processor noises will not harm her. Next time you're going to use loud kitchen machines, you might try speaking to her beforehand. Tell her you're preparing healthy food to eat, so that both of you have the best nourishment possible. Please let us know if this helps.
