Possible: Did your tremors start only after starting salbutamol? The beta agonist medications, like salbutamol, used for asthma tend to cause tremors. If you already had tremors prior to asthma, then it is unrelated. Speak to your physician and if possible different medication may be needed. A medication called Primidone also helps.

Possibly: This category of drug does have stimulant effects. Unfortunately most "rescue" inhaler drugs have this problem. There may be an alternative but it is something you must discuss with your physician. The drug is ipratropium but it is not devoid of side effects itself. Good Luck
