Yes: The white blood cell (WBC) count is unrelated to colon cancer risk or presence. Colon cancer can be screened for by a variety of tests including stool blood (fob), stool dna, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and virtual colonoscopy. See your md for screening recommendations individualized to you. If you have symptoms that is not screening, but diagnostic.
