A member asked:

Does sharing electric shaving machine with someone unknow status transfer hiv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Since the shaving machine may get contaminated with blood from each party and may cause abrasions thus facilitating the sharing of body fluids, it is possible for it to transmit hiv. The risk of acquiring hepatitis, especially hep b is much higher. It would be prudent to not share such devices.
