I had positive opk cye days 14-18 and then negatives. now at cycle day 23 it has turned positive again (hpt is neg). why could this be?

Stop testing : Once you have a positive ovulation test during the menstrual cycle you do not need to repeat it. It isn't helpful and can be expensive. You're simply detecting the elevated levels of persistent after ovulation.
