Inguinal hernia: The hernia by itself isn't a dangerous condition. It doesn't get better or go away on its own. However, if untreated it can lead to a serious complications. If hernia is enlarging or getting painful the surgery is warranted. Rec.: see your pcp for diagnosis and referral. Good luck.
