Difficult situation: It depends on the situation and why you think the read was inadequate. If you would like a second opinion, you could ask to have the scan reviewed by another radiologist in the group who initially read it. Having a radiologist from a different group re-interpret it is challenging and would require paying a portion of the fee again (usually not covered by insurance).
