No diabetes: The standard test for gestational diabetes is a 50 gram, one hour glucose tolerance test. This involves drinking a very sweet (usually orange flavored) drink and drawing blood one hour later. I'm not sure why you had the fasting glucose. The test is most sensitive around 24-28 wks gestation. Of course all tests can have false negatives, but if the one hour test is negative you should be good.
