Saline irrigations: The adenoid surgery is not your problem. Cautery of the nose by an ENT doctor may still result in crusting which could be blocking your nasal airway. See your ENT doctor who performed the surgery to determine if the inferior turbinate mucosa is dry and crusty. If the nasal mucosa is dry, saline irrigations might help. Finally, make sure you do not have a deviated septum.
