Vomiting: Difficult to answer question without more details: see your doc to check baby's weight, growth and hydration. Possibly difficulty with swallowing or reflux (gerd) , may need speech therapy or upper GI to assess swallowing capability of different textures (modified barium swallow).

Be patient: Solids are not a required part of infant nutrition. Many cultures keep them totally breast fed for the first year or more before adding solids. The American solid feeding experience was pushed decades ago when breast feeding was discouraged & home made formulas inadequate. Wait a month or two before trying again & take it slow. Review your program with his doc who can modify the plan as needed.
