Pregnancy unlikely: It is unlikely that you could become pregnant if your period is due in four days. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days prior to your next period, and an ovum can only survive in the range of 24 hours. Thus, the timing of the unprotected sex with relationship to the cycle of the questioner is the key factor in determining if this particular episode of sex would result in pregnancy.

Plan B: I would use Plan B as a precaution if intercourse was within 72 hours. Avoid intercourse again and schedule a visit to discuss your future birth control plans.

Not protected: Which type of iud was it? You were not protected and should see your doc if it happened less than 5 days ago. Take Plan B or Ella (ulipristal acetate) (especially if you weigh more than 186). For Ella (ulipristal acetate) you'll need a prescription. Consider getting a copper iud placed as emergency contraception. Call your doc.
